Custom Furniture
After thinking about it for a while, I have decided to finally address all of the questions regarding the custom furniture that we have been building. From shipping wood across the country to build wooden farm tables, to utilizing an employee's husband to build custom steel tables...it all is true...we build it. There is no chair too big for us to build and no space too small for us to build it in (hotel rooms have even been used) the WHE team does whatever it takes to get the job done. No substitutions...no surprises. If we promise it we overdeliver it. It is as simple as that.

The Details
Sometimes life gets too hectic and we forget to "stop and smell the roses." The same applies for our events. I used to do "cookie-cutter" events - we did so many that we didn't have the time to stop and locate the "details." Clients were still happy, please don't get me wrong. But I knew deep down that my team had more to offer - much more to offer to be exact. So, as the time came, and I realized that I wanted to start doing things "my way" I realized that the only way I could do that was to "do my thing." Well, now I am doing "my thing." So, whether it is scouring the Valley for the perfect 1920's hats or it is taking a road trip to Boulder City, NV, for the PERFECT 14' metal roses, I am doing it exactly how it should be done: always remembering the details.

A New Day ... A New Year ...
Well, I noticed that the last time I wrote anything on here was November 28th, 2010. But not to worry...only one or two things have changed since then.
And even now, as I sit down a few minutes after midnight, so many things have changed since my last post that I don't know where to begin. I guess that I could start with the most important change (and most improved, if I do say so myself)...me. Time will teach some married couples that they are good people just not all that good together. One could say that I learned that this past "year." While we grew apart, I have realized since the split that I have probably grown more in the past six months than I did in the previous three years. I have learned that I truly can do anything (which will be detailed over the next few weeks...I have QUITE the list)!! "Not happening" is truly not an option. I have also realized that there are people in this world that truly believe in my personal accomplishments - no matter how utterly, obnoxiously crazy they may be. And in the past year even the people closest to me have changed. If you had told me this time last year that I would have to part from my closest "partner in crime" I would've driven to Vegas to throw down money on "HECK NO!" But...even that changed. So...I guess the bottom line to my "I am back / First post in nearly a year" is this: Hi...my name is Erika Lyn Watson. My name might sound familiar...except now I am a much cuter, much more humble, upgraded model than I was before. If you think it I can make it happen. Just give me an 18V cordless drill, 2 saw horses, 10 zip ties (give or take a few), a FABULOUS pair of 4" high heals, and stand back to watch!!
